Heavenly Father,
It is Monday again and as usual
I would rather stay home and play
instead of go to work today.
Please bless me with fortitude and resolve
and glue my ear to your heart.
Give me gentle fingers as I do the work
You have placed in my hands,
and gentle toes to touch the places
where I step.
In praise and thanksgiving
and in Jesus name
Amen
