Faith: A gift

How exciting
A new life has been created
a baby
between us, through with and in us!
It was a long and difficult labor
let's hold it up and show it to the world!

It will need nurturing
Hold on to it tenderly but firmly
Play with it, delight in everything about it
expect tears and shouts from time to time,
smile at it alot
let it grow,
then eventually buy it some shoes and let it go
so it can do things on its own
