What is to give light must endure burning

I am re-reading “Man’s Search for Meaning” by Victor Frankl. I liked the above quote. Another quote from Frankl.
“Love is the only way to grasp another human being in the innermost core of his personality.”

OK, that title post is pretty dang profound....wow. I have to think about that. Personal experience would suggest it's true, though.

I know in art, you have to have dark to show light, and vice versa.

We all experience suffernig in life. We dont seem to all experience Love though.

It does seem, the most compassionate empathetic forgiving people are usually people who have experienced suffering - illnesses, accidents, loss of jobs, disppointments. mistakes we make cause suffering in ourselves too.

I have read that people who are abused by leaders: i.e., parents or teachers or religious leaders, etc. then go on to become abusers themselves. and abuse comes in many forms.

I suppose it is Grace that determines the outcome of our suffering and our ability to handle it.

Love care and tenderness and support from other people being the body of Christ to us is very important too.

I choose to Love not abuse.

Peace

it takes openess to receiving Grace to respond with Love to negative situations.

To rise above, to take the narrow path, to ask to enter the gate, not just jump over the fence.

Love is usually the most difficult response, as opposed to responding with a kneejerk reaction.

It takes courage (heart) to be light..."to love" in spite of darkness.
